How long does the jerky last?Typically the jerky can last around 15-21 days refrigerated and about 2-3 days un-refrigerated. |
How spicy is spicy?We would like to consider it friendly spicy! Spice tolerance varies from person to person. Our spicy factor for our jerky is mainly ground white pepper and chili pepper powder. |
What is the difference between the square and sliced jerky?The square is made from marinated ground meat. It is thinner and has a softer texture, even toddlers and the elderly can enjoy. The sliced meat is slightly thicker and chewier and is similar to the packaged jerky you find on store shelves in the grocery stores today. |
Do you use preservatives?We do not use any preservatives to extend the shelf life of the jerky. Varying factors can contribute to the changes of texture and the flavor of the jerky, so it is recommended to keep them sealed in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator. |
How many pieces of jerky come in a pound?Depending on the style ordered. The square jerky will be around 14-16 pieces. The sliced jerky will be around 13-15 pieces. |
How long will it take to receive my order?Generally, we will fill online orders within 1-2 business days depending on the available inventory or the time of day the order was placed. After the package is given to the shipping carrier, we expect it to take another 4-7 business days depending on the destination location and other factors affecting the shipment beyond our control. We will provide a tracking number so you can track where your goods are! |
